Cherry Blossoms Nails Stamping *inspired by Robin Moses*

Hey all!

If you didn't know, today was the Cherry Blossom Festival at the National Mall in Washington, D.C.  I had cherry blossoms on the brain after seeing that on the news, so I decided to embrace it.  Embrace it I did.

I remembered a video Robin Moses did on white which gave me some great tips (just search for robin moses cherry blossoms) - like fanning an opalescent pink under the stamping and using dots to represent the flowers.  Great stuff!

There are several pictures I have to share with you today.

The first was my first attempt at this manicure (from the video):

Manicure:
1 coat Perfect Formula Gel Coat
2 coats Butter London Yummy Mummy - swiped with Dazzle Dry Warm Affection
Stamped with Wet'n'Wild Black Creme using Mash-37
Dotted with Dazzle Dry Raspberry Rush, Julep Melissa, and Zoya Shelby
1 coat Sally Hansen Hard as Wraps Hard as Nails
1 coat Julep Freedom Polymer Top Coat

This was lovely, but I felt like I was overloading my branches (they'd never hold up), so I took a q-tip to it until the stamps and dots were gone.  Time to try again with a little more control.

Manicure:
Same colors, but this time for stamping I added Nails Inc Floral Street (white) and didn't use Julep Melissa since I was toning it down.

Here's another angle.

I am really happy with the simple, but feminine look.  And finally,  the video...

Wishing you amazing manicures,

Bevy of Nails
