Hi all!
I think I'm going to try using these Dazzle Dry polishes until I've tried out each one. We'll see how long that idea lasts, but I have seen a marked improvement in my nails (lack of staining) and longevity of manicure (tips lasting until the 5th day...crazy). Today I also used my Pueen plates (you know how I feel about that name) and I like how it came out.
Here it is:
Manicure:
1 coat Julep Oxygenating Nail Treatment
2 1/2 coats Dazzle Dry Nocturnal Blue (we'll discuss the formula below)
Stamped using Sally Hansen Insta-dri Mint Sprint and Pueen 12
1 coat Sally Hansen Hard as Wraps Hard as Nails
1 coat Julep Freedom Polymer Top Coat
Dazzle Dry Nocturnal Blue.
Verdict?
Here's the thing about some Dazzle Dry formulas. For some reason, some color separate on my nail leaving true bald spots down to the base coat. Some colors have great one-coat formulas. Please let me know if any of you have experienced this. I applied two coats and then filled in any bald spots that showed my natural nail.
The color is a true royal blue that made a great contrast with Mint Sprint. I love the Sally Hansen Insta-dri's for stamping.
I hope you like this one.
Wishing you amazing manicures,

Hello Bevy of Nails!
ReplyDeleteMaybe the Julep Oxygen Treatment causes this problem,I have never had this problem with my Dazzle Drys before. Some colors go on very easy, some are streaky, that are the only things I noticed so far.Do you have the Dazzle Dry Prep and their basecoat? Both are very good, the Prep has also Vitamins in it.
Also your mani looks very cute,I love the color combination!

Unfortunately it happens with some colors even when using the Dazzle Dry base coat. I do love the prep and I can't wait to see your colors too.
